Vacancy Breakdown

​The vacancies are expected to be filled through two major recruitment drives:

  • CISF Constable (GD): Approximately 25,000 posts (to be filled via the SSC GD 2027 cycle).
  • CISF Tradesman: Approximately 3,000 posts.

  • Notification Release: August or September 2026.
  • Age Calculation Date: Your age will likely be calculated as of August 1, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

  • For Tradesman (General): Must have passed Class 10th from a recognized board.
  • For Technical Trades (Electrician, Plumber, Mason): Class 10th pass + ITI Certificate in the relevant trade.

2. Age Limit

  • General (UR): 18 – 23 years.
  • OBC: 18 – 26 years (3 years relaxation).
  • SC/ST: 18 – 28 years (5 years relaxation).

3. Physical Standards (For General/OBC/SC)

  • Height (Male): 170 cm
  • Height (Female): 157 cm
  • Chest (Male): 80 cm (+5 cm expansion). (Note: Relaxation in height and chest is provided for ST candidates and those from specific hilly regions.)
