Eligibility Criteria

  1. Educational Qualification:
    • ​Must have passed 10th Standard (Matriculation) from a recognized board.
    • Mandatory Subjects: Mathematics and English must have been studied as elective or compulsory subjects.
    • Local Language: The candidate must have studied the local language of the applied circle at least up to 10th standard.
  2. Age Limit (as of the last date of application):
    • Minimum: 18 Years
    • Maximum: 40 Years
    • Relaxation: SC/ST (+5 years), OBC (+3 years), PwBD (up to +15 years).
  1. Other Requirements:
    • ​Knowledge of computer operations.
    • ​Ability to ride a bicycle.
    • ​Adequate means of livelihood.

Salary Structure (TRCA)

  • Branch Postmaster (BPM): ₹12,000 – ₹29,380
  • ABPM / Dak Sevak: ₹10,000 – ₹24,470

​📝 Selection Process

​There is no entrance exam. Selection is done through an automated merit list generated based on the marks obtained in the 10th Standard. Marks are calculated up to four decimal places. In case of a tie, older candidates and reserved categories (in a specific order) are given preference.

  2. Fee Payment: A fee of ₹100 is applicable for General/OBC/EWS/Male candidates. SC/ST, PwD, and all Female candidates are exempted from the fee.
  3. Fill Application: Log in using your Registration Number, select your circle, and fill in your details and post preferences.
  4. Upload Documents: Upload a recent photograph (up to 50kb) and signature (up to 20kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
