The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 947 vacancies across 24 different types of posts.
- Total Participants: 13,776 candidates appeared for the main written examination held from June 29, 2025, to July 2, 2025, in Prayagraj and Lucknow.
- Qualified for Interview: A total of 2,719 candidates have been declared successful in the written stage and are now eligible for the interview round.
- Direct Selection Posts: Out of the total vacancies, 60 seats (for one specific post type) will be filled based solely on the written examination results. These final results will be announced alongside the overall final selection list.
Important Legal and Administrative Notes
The Commission highlighted several conditions regarding the declared results:
- Pending Litigation: The results for petitioners in 15 specific writ petitions currently before the Allahabad High Court have not been declared, following judicial orders. The final outcome for these candidates remains subject to the court's decision.
- Out-of-State Female Candidates: The results for female candidates from outside Uttar Pradesh are subject to the final decision of Special Appeal No. 475(D)/2019.
- Scorecards and Cut-offs: Detailed information regarding individual marks and final cut-off percentages will only be released after the declaration of the final selection results. The Commission has requested that candidates do not file Right to Information (RTI) requests regarding marks until that time.
