​Candidates are advised to prepare the following original documents for the verification process:

  • Identity Proof: Original or e-Aadhaar card.
  • Age Proof: Madhyamik (10th) Admit Card or Pass Certificate from WBBSE or equivalent.
  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree certificate from a recognized university (obtained on or before April 7, 2024).
  • Caste/Category Certificate: * OBC (A & B): Must follow the latest government orders from 2025.
    • Renewal: OBC certificates issued before January 1, 2023, must be revalidated/renewed.
    • EWS: Income and Asset Certificate valid for 2023-2024 or onwards (based on FY 2022-23).
  • Special Certificates:
    • ​Domicile certificate for Hill Sub-Divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong.
    • ​Transgender Identity Certificate (if applicable).
    • ​Community certificate for Gorkhas, Garhwalis, and Rajbanshis.
    • ​No Objection Certificate (NOC) for current Government Employees.

Important Instructions for Shortlisted Candidates

​If you are shortlisted for the Personality Test, take note of these critical steps:

  1. Mandatory Upload: You must upload these certificates while downloading your e-Call Letter for the Personality Test.
  2. Physical Verification: Original copies must be produced physically before the Personality Test Board.
  3. Data Mismatch: In case of any error in Name, Surname, Father’s Name, or Date of Birth (DOB) compared to your application, you must provide a corrected copy or an Affidavit from a 1st Class Magistrate.
  4. Warning: Failure to produce the correct documents or affidavit will lead to the rejection of your candidature.
