How to Check RBSE 8th Result 2026 Name Wise & Roll Number Wise
Students can access their provisional marksheet through multiple methods on the official portal.
1. By Roll Number and District
This is the most common method.
- Go to the Shala Darpan portal: rajshaladarpan.nic.in.
- Click on the "Class 5th & 8th Exam" tab.
- Select Class 8 from the dropdown menu.
- Enter your Roll Number and select your District.
- Enter the Captcha code and click Search.
2. By Roll Number and School Code (NIC-SD/PSP)
If you don't want to search by district, you can use your school's unique code:
- Govt Schools: Use the NIC-SD Code.
- Private Schools: Use the PSP Code.
3. Name Wise Result
While the official Shala Darpan portal primarily uses roll numbers, some third-party sites and specific board links may allow a "Name Wise" search. To use this, you typically enter the student's full name and father's name to fetch the result.
RBSE Class 8 Grading System 2026
The Rajasthan Board does not provide marks in the final marksheet; instead, it uses a scale from A+ to E. To pass, a student must secure at least a Grade D (minimum 33%) in every subject.
- Grade A: 81–100 Marks (Excellent)
- Grade B: 61–80 Marks (Very Good)
- Grade C: 41–60 Marks (Good)
- Grade D: 33–40 Marks (Average/Pass)
- Grade E: 0–32 Marks (Fail/Supplementary)
What Happens After the Result?
- Supplementary Exams: Around 38,276 students have been placed in the supplementary category this year. These exams are expected to be held in July 2026, giving students another chance to pass without losing an academic year.
- Original Marksheet: The result online is provisional. Students must collect their original certificates from their respective schools in April or May.
- Promotion: Successful students will be promoted to Class 9.
